Parmod Kumar Vij of the BJP received 62.8% of the vote, compared to 30.5% of the Congress's Sanjay Aggarwal. BJP's voteshare fell by 4.0% from 2014, while Congress's voteshare increased by 2.4%.
The constituency saw a 2-cornered contest, with Bharatiya Janata Party, Indian National Congress all getting a voteshare of 10% of more.
