BJP wins in Pataudi by 36,579 votes: Haryana Assembly Elections 2019

Satya Parkash of BJP beats Independent's Narender Singh Pahari in Pataudi

BJP won Pataudi, defeating second-placed Independent by 36579 votes. It had also won Pataudi in the previous election, and retained the seat with a landslide margin.

Pataudi is in the South Haryana region of Haryana. It is also a constituency reserved for SC candidates, and is a predominantly urban constituency.

Satya Parkash of the BJP received 44.2% of the vote, compared to 17.5% of the Independent's Narender Singh Pahari. BJP's voteshare fell by 12.2% from 2014, while Independent's voteshare remained unchanged -.

The constituency saw a 4-cornered contest, with Bharatiya Janata Party, Independent, Jannayak Janta Party, Indian National Congress all getting a voteshare of 10% of more.
