BJP wins in Sohna by 12,453 votes: Haryana Assembly Elections 2019

Sanjay Singh of BJP beats JJP's Rohtas Singh in Sohna

BJP won Sohna, defeating second-placed JJP by 12453 votes. It had also won Sohna in the previous election, and retained the seat with a comfortable margin.

Sohna is in the South Haryana region of Haryana. It is a predominantly urban constituency.

Sanjay Singh of the BJP received 36.2% of the vote, compared to 28.5% of the JJP's Rohtas Singh. BJP's voteshare fell by 0.1% from 2014, while JJP's voteshare increased by 28.5%.

The constituency saw a 3-cornered contest, with Bharatiya Janata Party, Jannayak Janta Party, Bahujan Samaj Party all getting a voteshare of 10% of more.
