BJP wins in Nashik East by 12,000 votes: Maharashtra Assembly Elections 2019

Adv. Rahul Uattamrao Dhikle of BJP beats NCP's Balasaheb Mahadu Sanap in Nashik East

BJP won Nashik East, defeating second-placed NCP by 12000 votes. It had also won Nashik East in the previous election, and retained the seat with a comfortable margin.

Nashik East is in the North Maharashtra region of Maharashtra. It is a predominantly urban constituency.

Adv. Rahul Uattamrao Dhikle of the BJP received 47.7% of the vote, compared to 41.0% of the NCP's Balasaheb Mahadu Sanap. BJP's voteshare remained unchanged 0.0% from 2014, while NCP's voteshare increased by 33.1%.

The constituency saw a 2-cornered contest, with Bharatiya Janata Party, Nationalist Congress Party all getting a voteshare of 10% of more.
