BJP wins in Nashik West by 9,746 votes: Maharashtra Assembly Elections 2019

Seema Mahesh Hiray (Seematai) of BJP beats NCP's Dr. Apoorva Prashant Hiray in Nashik West

BJP won Nashik West, defeating second-placed NCP by 9746 votes. It had also won Nashik West in the previous election, and retained the seat with a narrow margin.

Nashik West is in the North Maharashtra region of Maharashtra. It is a predominantly urban constituency.

Seema Mahesh Hiray (Seematai) of the BJP received 35.6% of the vote, compared to 31.2% of the NCP's Dr. Apoorva Prashant Hiray. BJP's voteshare increased by 1.2% from 2014, while NCP's voteshare increased by 15.8%.

The constituency saw a 4-cornered contest, with Bharatiya Janata Party, Nationalist Congress Party, Maharashtra Navnirman sena, Communist Party of India (Marxist) all getting a voteshare of 10% of more.
