BJP wins in Bhiwandi West by 14,912 votes: Maharashtra Assembly Elections 2019

Chaughule Mahesh Prabhakar of BJP beats Independent's Khalid (Guddu) in Bhiwandi West

BJP won Bhiwandi West, defeating second-placed Independent by 14912 votes. It had also won Bhiwandi West in the previous election, and retained the seat with a comfortable margin.

Bhiwandi West is in the Thane Konkan region of Maharashtra. It is a predominantly urban constituency. In Bhiwandi West, the Muslim community is a major voting block.
