BJP wins in Dombivali by 41,311 votes: Maharashtra Assembly Elections 2019

Chavan Ravindra Dattatray of BJP beats Maharashtra Navnirman sena's Mandar Shrikant Halbe in Dombivali

BJP won Dombivali, defeating second-placed Maharashtra Navnirman sena by 41311 votes. It had also won Dombivali in the previous election, and retained the seat with a landslide margin.

Dombivali is in the Thane Konkan region of Maharashtra. It is a predominantly urban constituency.

Chavan Ravindra Dattatray of the BJP received 59.3% of the vote, compared to 30.9% of the Maharashtra Navnirman sena's Mandar Shrikant Halbe. BJP's voteshare increased by 3.1% from 2014, while Maharashtra Navnirman sena's voteshare increased by 30.9%.

The constituency saw a 2-cornered contest, with Bharatiya Janata Party, Maharashtra Navnirman sena all getting a voteshare of 10% of more.
