Shiv Sena wins in Ovala ?Majiwada by 84,008 votes: Maharashtra Assembly Elections 2019

Pratap Baburao Sarnaik of Shiv Sena beats Congress's Chavan Vikrant Bhimsen in Ovala ?Majiwada

Shiv Sena won Ovala ?Majiwada, defeating second-placed Congress by 84008 votes. It had also won Ovala ?Majiwada in the previous election, and retained the seat with a landslide margin.

Ovala ?Majiwada is in the Thane Konkan region of Maharashtra. It is a predominantly urban constituency.

Pratap Baburao Sarnaik of the Shiv Sena received 60.7% of the vote, compared to 17.3% of the Congress's Chavan Vikrant Bhimsen. Shiv Sena's voteshare increased by 23.5% from 2014, while Congress's voteshare increased by 10.0%.

The constituency saw a 3-cornered contest, with Shiv Sena, Indian National Congress, Maharashtra Navnirman sena all getting a voteshare of 10% of more.
