Shiv Sena wins in Kopri-Pachpakhadi by 89,300 votes: Maharashtra Assembly Elections 2019

Eknath Sambhaji Shinde of Shiv Sena beats Congress's Ghadigaonkar Sanjay Pandurang in Kopri-Pachpakhadi

Shiv Sena won Kopri-Pachpakhadi, defeating second-placed Congress by 89300 votes. It had also won Kopri-Pachpakhadi in the previous election, and retained the seat with a landslide margin.

Kopri-Pachpakhadi is in the Thane Konkan region of Maharashtra. It is a predominantly urban constituency.

Eknath Sambhaji Shinde of the Shiv Sena received 65.4% of the vote, compared to 13.9% of the Congress's Ghadigaonkar Sanjay Pandurang. Shiv Sena's voteshare increased by 10.3% from 2014, while Congress's voteshare increased by 4.1%.

The constituency saw a 3-cornered contest, with Shiv Sena, Indian National Congress, Maharashtra Navnirman sena all getting a voteshare of 10% of more.
