BJP wins in Airoli by 78,491 votes: Maharashtra Assembly Elections 2019

Ganesh Naik of BJP beats NCP's Ganesh Raghu Shinde in Airoli

BJP won Airoli, defeating second-placed NCP by 78491 votes. NCP had won this constituency in the previous election, but BJP took control of the seat with a landslide margin in this election.

Airoli is in the Thane Konkan region of Maharashtra. It is a predominantly urban constituency.

Ganesh Naik of the BJP received 58.4% of the vote, compared to 18.4% of the NCP's Ganesh Raghu Shinde. BJP's voteshare increased by 36.2% from 2014, while NCP's voteshare fell by 18.2%.

The constituency saw a 3-cornered contest, with Bharatiya Janata Party, Nationalist Congress Party, Maharashtra Navnirman sena all getting a voteshare of 10% of more.
