BJP wins in Borivali by 95,021 votes: Maharashtra Assembly Elections 2019

Sunil Dattatraya Rane of BJP beats Congress's Kumar Khilare in Borivali

BJP won Borivali, defeating second-placed Congress by 95021 votes. It had also won Borivali in the previous election, and retained the seat with a landslide margin.

Borivali is in the Mumbai region of Maharashtra. It is a predominantly urban constituency.

Sunil Dattatraya Rane of the BJP received 74.5% of the vote, compared to 17.3% of the Congress's Kumar Khilare. BJP's voteshare increased by 13.3% from 2014, while Congress's voteshare increased by 8.8%.

The constituency saw a 2-cornered contest, with Bharatiya Janata Party, Indian National Congress all getting a voteshare of 10% of more.
