BJP wins in Mulund by 57,348 votes: Maharashtra Assembly Elections 2019

Kotecha Mihir Chandrakant of BJP beats Maharashtra Navnirman sena's Harshala Rajesh Chavan in Mulund

BJP won Mulund, defeating second-placed Maharashtra Navnirman sena by 57348 votes. It had also won Mulund in the previous election, and retained the seat with a landslide margin.

Mulund is in the Mumbai region of Maharashtra. It is a predominantly urban constituency.

Kotecha Mihir Chandrakant of the BJP received 56.5% of the vote, compared to 19.4% of the Maharashtra Navnirman sena's Harshala Rajesh Chavan. BJP's voteshare increased by 1.1% from 2014, while Maharashtra Navnirman sena's voteshare increased by 19.4%.

The constituency saw a 3-cornered contest, with Bharatiya Janata Party, Maharashtra Navnirman sena, Indian National Congress all getting a voteshare of 10% of more.
