NCP wins in Anushakti Nagar by 12,751 votes: Maharashtra Assembly Elections 2019

Nawab Malik of NCP beats Shiv Sena's Tukaram Ramkrushna Kate in Anushakti Nagar

NCP won Anushakti Nagar, defeating second-placed Shiv Sena by 12751 votes. Shiv Sena had won this constituency in the previous election, but NCP took control of the seat with a comfortable margin in this election.

Anushakti Nagar is in the Mumbai region of Maharashtra. It is a predominantly urban constituency.

Nawab Malik of the NCP received 46.8% of the vote, compared to 37.7% of the Shiv Sena's Tukaram Ramkrushna Kate. NCP's voteshare increased by 17.7% from 2014, while Shiv Sena's voteshare increased by 7.8%.

The constituency saw a 2-cornered contest, with Nationalist Congress Party, Shiv Sena all getting a voteshare of 10% of more.
