Gaikwad Varsha Eknath of the Congress received 45.3% of the vote, compared to 35.4% of the Shiv Sena's Ashish Vasant More. Congress's voteshare increased by 4.4% from 2014, while Shiv Sena's voteshare increased by 7.7%.
The constituency saw a 3-cornered contest, with Indian National Congress, Shiv Sena, All India Majlis-E-Ittehadul Muslimeen all getting a voteshare of 10% of more.
