Shiv Sena wins in Mahim by 18,647 votes: Maharashtra Assembly Elections 2019

Sada Sarvankar of Shiv Sena beats Maharashtra Navnirman sena's Sandeep Sudhakar Deshpande in Mahim

Shiv Sena won Mahim, defeating second-placed Maharashtra Navnirman sena by 18647 votes. It had also won Mahim in the previous election, and retained the seat with a landslide margin.

Mahim is in the Mumbai region of Maharashtra. It is a predominantly urban constituency.

Sada Sarvankar of the Shiv Sena received 49.5% of the vote, compared to 34.4% of the Maharashtra Navnirman sena's Sandeep Sudhakar Deshpande. Shiv Sena's voteshare increased by 15.0% from 2014, while Maharashtra Navnirman sena's voteshare increased by 34.4%.

The constituency saw a 3-cornered contest, with Shiv Sena, Maharashtra Navnirman sena, Indian National Congress all getting a voteshare of 10% of more.
