BJP wins in Colaba by 16,195 votes: Maharashtra Assembly Elections 2019

Adv. Rahul Suresh Narwekar of BJP beats Congress's Ashok Arjunrao Alias Bhai Jagtap in Colaba

BJP won Colaba, defeating second-placed Congress by 16195 votes. It had also won Colaba in the previous election, and retained the seat with a landslide margin.

Colaba is in the Mumbai region of Maharashtra. It is a predominantly urban constituency.

Adv. Rahul Suresh Narwekar of the BJP received 53.8% of the vote, compared to 38.7% of the Congress's Ashok Arjunrao Alias Bhai Jagtap. BJP's voteshare increased by 8.4% from 2014, while Congress's voteshare increased by 21.1%.

The constituency saw a 2-cornered contest, with Bharatiya Janata Party, Indian National Congress all getting a voteshare of 10% of more.
