Shiv Sena wins in Buldhana by 26,075 votes: Maharashtra Assembly Elections 2019

Sanjay Rambhau Gaikwad of Shiv Sena beats Vanchit Bahujan Aaghadi's Vijay Haribhau Shinde in Buldhana

Shiv Sena won Buldhana, defeating second-placed Vanchit Bahujan Aaghadi by 26075 votes. Congress had won this constituency in the previous election, but Shiv Sena took control of the seat with a comfortable margin in this election.

Buldhana is in the Vidarbha region of Maharashtra. It is a predominantly urban constituency. In Buldhana, the Muslim community is a major voting block.

Sanjay Rambhau Gaikwad of the Shiv Sena received 37.8% of the vote, compared to 23.3% of the Vanchit Bahujan Aaghadi's Vijay Haribhau Shinde. Shiv Sena's voteshare increased by 17.6% from 2014, while Vanchit Bahujan Aaghadi's voteshare increased by 23.3%.
