Congress wins in Nagpur West by 6,367 votes: Maharashtra Assembly Elections 2019

Vikas Pandurang Thakre of Congress beats BJP's Sudhakar Shamrao Deshmukh in Nagpur West

Congress won Nagpur West, defeating second-placed BJP by 6367 votes. BJP had won this constituency in the previous election, but Congress took control of the seat with a narrow margin in this election.

Vikas Pandurang Thakre of the Congress received 46.6% of the vote, compared to 43.1% of the BJP's Sudhakar Shamrao Deshmukh. Congress's voteshare increased by 11.8% from 2014, while BJP's voteshare fell by 7.0%.
