1. The Seatshare Story

NDA won 8 of the total 11 seats - a fall of 2 seats from the 2014 election. UPA came in second: it bagged 3 seats, an increase of 3 from the previous election.

2. Vote share

BJP's voteshare was 45.5%, an increase of 8.5% from the previous election. Others had 24.1% voteshare: an increase of 5.4% from the previous election. NCP had 20.7% voteshare: an increase of 4.3% from the previous election. Congress had 6.7% voteshare: a fall of 2.9% from the previous election.

3. Margin of victory

The median margin of victory decreased from 14.9% in 2014 to 11.0%, indicating a relatively more competitive election.

BJP had a relatively high median victory margin of 13.0%, and won most of the seats it contested with a comfortable margin. NCP had a relatively low median victory margin of 2.0%, and won most of the seats it did with a narrow margin.
